Flonase aqueous nasal spray for children is indicated for the treatment of nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose and itchy and irritated eyes due to seasonal allergic rhinitis (allergies). Flonase contains a steroid which can be used in children over the age of 4 years old. Children should be careful not to spray Flonase into their eyes or mouth and it should always be used under close adult supervision. Flonase appears to be well tolerated in children and is generally without any serious undue side effects.
