The ES 350 has a rigid body structure to protect everyone inside. There are crumple zones in the front and back that takes the force of an accident and the vehicle compresses at a controlled rate. The 350 has smart stop technology which reduces power to the engine when both the brake and gas pedals are pressed at the same time. It has traction control which selectively applies the brakes and transfers power to the wheels when it senses a wheelspin.
